My thoughts and reflections

The motivation for building this web-site was to create a space online where I could share my love of the English Lake District and of my home town of Kendal, a sort of photographic love-letter to this beautiful area.

The images here are the result of a photographic hobby that adds pleasure to walks in the fells but where taking photos is (very) rarely the main purpose of those journeys.

In truth, taking photos is a passion that has often ebbed and flowed for me across the years, so I am hopeful that creating and maintaining this website might provide some structure and motivation, encouraging me to get out more with my camera and explore this wonderful landscape.
